The Sympathy Orchestra was founded in 2009 by Scott Rochon. The band has been playing live in the metro Detroit music scene (and sometimes beyond) since 2010. Todd Villeneuve joined and David Marquis returned in January of 2017. Alan Gregory and Anne Kadrovich joined in February of 2017. Robin Roxie joined in April of 2017. Thank you to all of the TSO fans, friends and family for their ongoing support.
Todd Villeneuve - Vocals
Robin Roxie - Guitar
David Marquis - Guitar and Vocals
Anne Kadrovich - Keyboards and Vocals
Alan Gregory - Bass
Scott Rochon - Drums and Percussion
Fueled by science fiction, Anne is a multi-instrumentalist who is best known for playing bass in the Los Angeles-based bands Tuscaurora and Sissy Bar.
Robin is a past Detroit Music Award winner. She is equally comfortable playing Prog, Punk, Classic Rock or Metal. Musically, she's our tattooed flower, but with thorns that can bite!
Originally from the Boston, Alan started off playing in the blues scene before moving on to classic rock bands, including a Led Zeppelin Cover band. His influences include Porcupine Tree and Yes.
Began playing drums at age 15. Encouraged by his soul-mate, Pamela and influenced by such bands as ELP, Yes and King Crimson, Scott continues to strive to create new and exciting prog rock music.
David began playing at age 14 on a guitar from Sears. He has played and sang in many local bands including a 25 year stint in a wedding band. His influences include Yes, Pink Floyd and Genesis.
Todd began playing guitar at 13, with live work following soon after. His first singing gig was with The Iguana Project. His influences include Bigelf, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
