Originally from the Boston, Alan started off playing in the blues scene before moving on to classic rock bands, including a Led Zeppelin cover band. His influences include Porcupine Tree and Yes.
Fueled by science fiction, Anne is a multi-instrumentalist who is best known for playing bass in the Los Angeles-based bands Tuscaurora and Sissy Bar.
Scott began playing drums at age 15. After hearing the music of ELP, Scott knew exactly what kind of music that he wanted to play and create. Other influences include The Beatles, Yes and King Crimson.

Eduardo was in a number of high quality bands in his native Brazil, including the AppleBand and Simplesmente Paul. Eduardo is a multi-instrumentalist and The Beatles are his biggest influence.
David began playing at age 14 on a guitar from Sears. He has played and sang in many local bands including a 25 year stint in a wedding band. His influences include Yes, Pink Floyd and Genesis.
Todd began playing guitar at 13, with live work following soon after. His first singing gig was with The Iguana Project. His influences include Bigelf, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
The Sympathy Orchestra was founded in 2009 by Scott Rochon. The band has been playing live in the metro Detroit music scene (and sometimes beyond) since 2010. Todd Villeneuve joined and David Marquis returned in January of 2017. Alan Gregory and Anne Kadrovich joined in February of 2017. Eduardo Perez returned in February of 2019. November 18, 2019 - We are taking a break over the next few weeks for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have had a very productive month, with no less than 10 new songs being worked on. We are looking forward to bringing these songs, plus many others to you at The Plymouth Roc on Saturday, February 8th, 2020.

June 9, 2019 - Thank you to everyone who came out to support us at the Motor City Pride Festival in Hart Plaza last night.
Mother Nature was much kinder to us this weekend than she was the previous weekend. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Party cloudy with a nice breeze. The setting was wonderful with the Detroit skyline, the river and Canada all within sight from the stage. We had a great time and we are looking forward to coming back next year.
June 2, 2019 - Thank you to everyone who braved the hail, rain, thunder, lightning and mud (lots of mud!) to catch our performance at the OWE Festival last night. Your support means the world to us. Thank you to Scott and Melissa Ramsey and The Old West End Association for having us back once again. It's always a special event to be part of, even when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. We hope to see you all again next year.

April 28, 2019 - We just finished a rare, late afternoon rehearsal. We were on fire! We are excited to begin the Spring / Summer Concert Schedule in just a few weeks.
April 9, 2019 - Major show announcement: We have accepted an invitation to play at the Motor City Pride Festival on June 8th at 7:30pm in Hart Plaza in Detroit. We are very grateful for the opportunity and we are looking forward to entertaining everyone at this year’s festival. More details to follow as soon as we receive them.
March 31, 2019 - Another epic 4+ hour rehearsal in the books. We are very excited to bring the new material to you very soon.
March 3, 2019 - We had an epic 4 hour rehearsal. The new material is coming along great, including what we are sure will be a few surprises for all of you.
February 11, 2019 - We added two new songs to the repertoire during yesterday's rehearsal
February 7. 2019 -We are looking forward to Sunday's rehearsal after almost a month off. Alan has been off in China, always on the lookout for new and stranger things to eat. Scott has been working on his "Supernatural Suite", while in appropriate mood lighting. Anne and Todd have been nesting at home to keep away from polar vortexes and thermal whiplashes. David has been sequestered in a dank, dark basement, figuring out Queen tunes and leads with his new Red Special guitar.
